  1. Hey guys and girls, i know im new here but im just clearing out the workshop and have some parts that might be of interest to some members.

Ive just sold one tank but have another carbon fibre tank for the 916/748 series bikes, as most of you will probably already know what else it will fit i wont go into it to much.

it was shipped in from America last summer for my track bike, i paid £1000 for it (around $1500) it then cost me £200 odd quid in import tax. i then had it painted as i wanted it to match the bike so spent another £400 having it professionally painted in the same red as my 916 but had some carbon left showing on the shoulders of the tank for effect.

it looks stunning, its new and unused as i damaged the bike beyond repair before the tank was ready, it weights around one tenth as much as a standard tank it really is feather light!

ill get some pics up later when i can get into the garage to take a couple.

Looking for £600, dont think thats unreasonable but if im mistaken please let me know. id prefer collection (notts/derby area) but will post if necessary.

  2. nipped out to take a few pics, any questions or offers feel free to pm me...

ill leave it on here for a few days, im open to reasonable offers, its only gathering dust in the garage at the minute, it may end up on ebay at some point if i cant find a enthusiast owner...

  5. I will up that, ''£40 and a lightly soiled copy of Razzle '93 Big Bangers special''. (I have removed stuck together pages)...

c'mon, when can I pick the tank up.....?

  6. is that the issue with the 12 page readers wives special? i think i already have a laminated copy... sorry. :p

  7. That's a nice tank, great idea with the carbon bits still showing. The 911 looks nice to

  8. Oh Wow!! That looks amazing!

  9. How can you tell that's a 911? Could be a Boxter. Are you an anorak?

That tank does look great and Im sure it will go to a good home  Good luck with the sale

  10. What filler cap does it take?

  11. It will take a billet push and twist cap, I never got around to finding one.

    And I can confirm it's a 911 (996) well done to the anorak! ;)
