Lets say I returned from a test ride and had to have a new Multistrada S Touring. How long would it normally be before I'm riding off on my new bike? I've never bought a brand spanking new bike before and as I have a trip to Scotland planned, would rather do it on the new one. Thanks for any replies. Mark.
Depends on the model u choose I ordered a panigale r for. May reg still not here yet good job I've got other bike to ride but still we'll pissed off good luck with your new bike
Well if the dealer has stock in the franchise (ie in another branch) less than a week, otherwise, it can really depend on what Ducati are actually building in the factory. In regard to the Pani R, they have a very small production run, but with a exceedingly popular Multi the wait time should be a lot less. Keep us updated
Saying that, as you've agreed to buy a bike from them, you may be able to wangle the use of their demo bike if yours doesn't get delivered on time
I would imagine that there's a Multi S touring somewhere in stock that they can fling engine bars on and the ducati alarm into and get it to Manchester within a week. Thanks for the replies. Now If I can just get a decent insurance quote that doesn't make me swallow my tongue, then I can only see a Multi in my future after I test ride next week.
Checked with my dealer today and he said if he had to order one direct from the factory, he would give himself four weeks
Sorry, I forgot that someone asked about the Scotland trip. We're going through the lakes to Galloway forest park then west coast to Ayr. From there along the lochs past Loch Ness to Inverness. Staying 2nd night in Elgin and then through the Cairngormes to Gallashiels. Home via the Yorkshire Dales. If I don't get the multi or can't get it in time for the trip, then I'll be going on my 650 versys. I'd rather be on a multi to be honest, even if I'm still on running in rev limits.
