Hi All On the spur of the moment i spoted a Pantah 500 for sale now the name evoked memories of biking at a earlier age (I am now 54) so bought it had it delivered last week and well chuffed with the bike for the price paid I have for the last 35 years been a 2 stroke fan having rebuilt and owned many a Suzuki GT750 think now on number 13 from the standard tourers to stupid tuned ex racing sidecar jobs, the side car engine was stupid but i was a lot younger then , if i respected the throttle i could get 15 miles to the gallon if i gave it some wellie as it was meant for i used to get around 65 miles to a tank full worked out to about 9 miles to the gallon, and a new drive chain monthly not to mention back tyres. i have in the stables now 1 Suzuki kettle 1 MotoGuzzi Spada 1 Honda 400 / 4 and now the pantah I keep koi and Patterdale terriers and dont find enough time to ride the bikes
Hello and welcome. Love the Pantah, it was about when I was first interested in bikes (I'm 50), always wanted one but couldn't afford one then. Never been into the 2 strokes though, but that's just a personal preference. Enjoy your time on here, some brilliant advice available should you need it. Chris
