Off hand, I don’t know of any high street retailers who stock LiFePO4 motorcycle batteries. Some motorcycle parts retailers might but I’ve only ever used my dealer's parts department who hold stock of the most common sizes. Shido is a good name and Skyrich certainly used to supply Ducati. My current one comes from a European supplier, never heard of the brand but the spec is good. Andy
Been using one of these in my V4 for the last couple of years. It doesn’t have massive capacity so you don’t want to leave the ignition on overnight or anything silly like that but otherwise highly recommended. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Battery-Motorcycle-Skyrich-Lithium-Ion-Indicator/dp/B008AGT2AK
Hi Joe. Not a recommendation but UK Road and Race source and supply various make’s including SkyRich etc.
After trying a number of Ducati dealers that didn't have stock earlier this year, I ordered an OEM battery from Woods - Ducati Abergele, which is now: Completely Motorcycles. The battery was branded Skyrich with the correct battery number, and delivered promptly in a Ducati box with a Ducati part number for £179-80p. It is possible to buy alternative specification batteries for less, but I preferred to have a matched original. This supplier may be able to help: https://skyrichbatteries.co.uk/ . Hope it helps. Tom. Note: This alternative has been suggested previously: https://dmsshop.co.uk/lithium-batteries/hjt9b-fp-swi-12v-3ah-lithium-battery-7162-0040-8993074 ; and, some of the information in this thread may be of interest: https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/biketrac-killing-batteries.94511/ .
The OE battery in my V4 is a Skyrich but the spare I bought for the Monster 937 is JMT bought from my Dealer and is an identical part number in the link above but plain black in colour and branded JMT. Andy
Apparently, these people may make an alternative option: https://www.jmproducts.eu/jm-technics . Tom.
I completely agree with @Cris_ above ^^ " We aim to offer the cheapest batteries on the web. In the unlikely event that you find a cheaper price on another website, challenge us to beat it! " Obviously , you'll see this kind of statement all over the place , but in the case of Tayna , it's reliable . Then add in their excellent service , and deliveries on or before the promised date ? It would be foolish to buy elsewhere ....... in my opinionation . https://www.tayna.co.uk/ PS - I have no affiliation with them in any way , and I'm not a shill ..... .... but I strongly believe in giving praise where it's due . I just wish I could say the same for most of the official Ducati dealerships I've done business with !
I’ve just put two Panigale registrations into their search facility and both come up as “Fail”. I tried to look up manually but no Panigales are listed at all.
Just checked that and you're correct, they were definitely listing them as recently as a couple of months ago. Might be worth sending them an email/msg to ask them if they intend stocking them again?
