Just found this forum and it looked a good place to share my passion for all things Ducati. Currently running a 2004 ST3 which I purchased from new. I've also had a Pantah 600 & a 748, but restricted time to ride meant I couldn't justify all three, and approaching 50 the ST3 is the easier bike to ride, plus I do quite a bit of touring with the wife as pillion. I look forward in contributing as much as possible going forward. A quick snap of my ST3 taken after it had sailed through its MOT in September:
Welcome mate and enjoy the experience. Oh and if your the last one to leave make sure you turn the lights out.
Went last year for the first time ever....I found out about it 4 years ago ironically going to pick up my first hypermotard - filling the car up at Gordano to head down to devon with my mate and saw all the bikes in the car park....went last year to Gordano on the RSV4 and then took the hyper into town - Baldwin street is about a mile or so from my house...
All good, didnt recognise the picy with the cycling hat on, hows tricks, I thought you had given up the motor bikes for the cycle bikes?
Yes Rich this is my Sunny Sunday attire these days Well it helps to keep the weight off! Still got the ST3 but haven't had much time recently (read the last 4 years) to get out and about, but my business is more stable now so intend to get out more this year. Already planning a trip to Germany & Austria in the Spring.
I've not been for a few years. My ST3 has only done 800 miles in the last few years, but I've made a commitment to get out much more this year so will definitely be doing the Classic Italian day again. Also planning a trip back to Germany & Austria in the Spring. Been there before and loved the riding, the hospitality and the beer!
I dont get out on mine much at all these days, I have the 999, MV Brutale and a project BSA, I keep flirting with selling the MV because I just am not using it or the Ducati, but wont ever sell her. I would be better off having a boat where the 4 of us could have fun!
