Hi everybody, I am new to this forum but have owened my 1999 996 for four years. I just love the character of this bike, its without doubt like no other bike. At 55 years old I sometimes think its a younger mans bike, with the spare tyre around my waist it makes the ride a little uncomfortable. Just been looking at the 1299 panigale s much more easy to ride with nicer rider position, I must say rather fallen for it, but; dont seem to get any quotes from online insurance comparison sites. Maybe I could buy it as an ornament instead as it it very pleasing on the eye
