Hello to you all. Having just bought a Ducati frame and engine and a box of bits yesterday. No log book but can be applied for. Just wounder if any one could give info of the frame. Vin number ZDM6008*003819* and this number is under it D6M53640NM. There not easy numbers to read i think i have them right, will check if anybody thinks i have got something wrong. Bought this as a project. Thanks for any help. Will be applying to DVLA for log book.

Emailed Ducati last night, They have replied, the frame I have is a 600ss 1997. I was surprised at the speed they have came back with details, great service. Is it normal that Ducati want personal details ie D.O.B, address and proof of owner transfer?
Yes, when I contact them they ask me about my Ducatis and if I still own the same bikes. Fabiana likes to keep her records in order.
