Just picked up a 2003 Multistrada 1000DS as my new day to day / touring bike. Very happy and it rides great, the only slight issue is the fuel gauge is all over the place. Is this an easy fix or something i just have to put up with (i hear its quite a common problem) Any other model specific issues / fixes i should be looking at? It is due a service in the summer which i will be doing myself and will be a good time to do some other bits and pieces if they are worth doing. Heres a picture from the advert, i will get some better ones of my own on Wednesday when i can give it a good clean
Nice bikes have ridden one and they are great fun You can see over hedges and it's a nice power and handling is great I should have one as it makes riding easy but I can't reach the floor very well Great comfy bike as pillion but wind rush above 80 is uncomfortable All in all I like them have fun and enjoy
