1200 New Multistrada Test. Telegraph Motoring

  1. This is the first time I've head about the vibration.
160mph is out of the question.
Well may be with a pikes peak screen and a 7 stone rider and top gears run way.
I doubt is rear wheel power is 140bhp and with that profile 160mph is a dream.
+150 yes or 160 on the ducati 8% over the odds speedo.

  2. I'm confused about "Price/on sale: £12,995 (£15,795 white, £15,595 red)". What colour is the 12995 multi??? Perhaps it under-coat only!

  3. is it prices for Sky hook, and non sky hook?

  4. I have read a couple of reports that a few people have noticed a vibration on a couple of bikes but not all bikes, and not all commented, fed up with the half ass reviews tested in fixed conditions with Ducati looking over their shoulders, About time someone got hold of one for a real life test, with honest views

  5. Couldn't agree more!

  6. To S or not to S, that is the question.

  7. They should do a (SS) stainless steel option one. For those that live near salt water! Obviously not for certain other European countries.

  8. If i was going to buy one i would seriously consider the S model now. Ducati have been very clever from a marketing point of view in the bits they have left off the standard bike.

M50 Brembos, LED cornering lights and the colourscreen are all things i would have liked but on the standard bike.

  9. I agree, but it's a heck of a lot of money for the S. No panniers so another grand for touring pack. My standard model MY1200 abs has been great with some suspension tweaks.

The toys are tempting for the S though! Clever Audi influence on the marketing...
