After much deliberation over winter I took the plunge and bought the SC Projects Oval Carbon Pipe. ( picture attached). On opening the box, very surprised with the quality. Excellent compared to other brands I have bought in the past. The carbon tip is gorgeous. The stainless banding is flawless. It`s very light, and for me, the perfect size for the bike. Fitting was pretty straight forward and everything marry`s up first time. Just the usual tweaking of link pipe and hanger before you nip everything up. Fired the bike up last night, and it sounds great with the baffle in, so I am going to do a few rides with it in, see what its like, then at some point I will remove for the day and see what I think. My first impressions are that I may leave it in. It`s a lot louder than stock, but not too offensive. For now, I am not going to make any other mods , such as air filters, power commanders, or removing the flapper, as being a slip on, I am guessing it will be fine.....unless I tell you otherwise....... When I get chance I will post a couple of pics of my actual bike, so you can see for yourselves.....
