1200 New Pr4's, Anodised Belly Pan And A Day With The Monster 1200

  1. Great day to have off. My Multi went in for new rubber-PR4's. Also black anodised belly pan and other parts. Looks brilliant.

Lent, for the second time, the new Monster 1200S and what a brilliant naked bike. Loads of character. Looks good, sounds amazing(why can't the Multi sound like that), loads of torque, great gear box and a hoot. It is light too!

Back on the Multi at the end of the day and still love it to bits. Dilemma!

  2. How does the knee angle compare ?

  3. Slightly more "cramped" compared with Multi but with the adjustable seat at its highest setting not at all uncomfortable. A great bike.

  4. When I rode one a couple of weeks back... whilst the sound is definitely incredible, and more like my Diavel than the Multistrada.... I did wonder how liveable it would be due to the knee angle. Not sure what position the seat was in... but I suspect longer rides I would have started to really notice my knees and not in a good way.
Fun bike - but I'll keep the Diavel and my new Strada thanks :)

  5. Made the mistake of sitting on a white 1200s Monster last time I was at dealers, mistake. Now lusting! Love the riding position and styling.
Back in the morning to drop the multi off for pre Alps service...keep me away from the new bikes section...

  6. keep us updated on how you rate the Pr4's

  7. YOU LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY Ba5tard....a Diavel and a Multistroodle...SWMBO would kill me if I did that....(she might make me sell the 998s).

  8. Good feel about the PR4's so far- though few miles on them. Going to to Reactive Suspension on Wednesday so lots of opportunities in the Lincolnshire Wolds, and after, on the B1363 and beyond. Can't wait.
