I got from the Ducati dealer a complete set of brake pads for my 2021 MTS 950S. The strange thing is that the rear brake pads were way too thick to fit the caliper, see photos. I had to grind off a total of 4,2 mm to get them down to proper thickness. The dealer is puzzled, their records show that the supplied part number should fit my bike. Anybody seen something similar?
Guess that's a good reason to return these to the dealer and get them to supply Brembo or OEM (which are Brembo anyway). I do recall being surprised how little pad material was on the Brembo SA rear pads that I fitted to my 1260.
Yeah they look incorrect, very Chunky! Also CL? Who are they! I’d go with a quality brand like EBC/SBS/Ferodo/Brembo to ensure proper fitment, even if it is ‘just the back’
CL = Carbon Loraine. I have used them in the past, they are a premier make and work well. IF they fit that is!
