Hi All, Rider for 8-9 years. I've owned a couple of Street Triples as my main [summer] bike. Also have a Honda NC750, Honda VFR before that as my winter commuter. I test rode the Panagale few years back and then the SF v2 in Feb and wanted one ever since. Really pleased to now be an owner of a [new to me] SFV2. Only ridden my new bike once so far (90 min back from London)! Hoping for as many sunny weekends as possible before the salt spreaders start. Shout out to Alex in Ducati London for a great experience with the purchase, it went really smoothly. Things that will be on my xmas list (but likely will only get 1 or 2): * optimate lead that connects to the diag port under seat [already ordered from Cambridge - will need advice on where to route it] * single sided paddock stand * evotech tail tidy * evotech rad guards * evotech pillion pegs plate * seat cowl * LED indicators
Congrats on your fab new bike, I love mine! I assume you've found it, but there's a long thread on here where we share our SF V2 tips, mods, and experiences, but mostly photos!
Ah - i think I saw the long SFV2 thread but assumed it was about the news of its release. I'll start paging through it! Thanks
@Snips - i'm a few pages in, very interesting, looks like we rode the same bike in Cambridge - i test rode it in Feb and was told it would be a 3-4 month wait for a brand new bike so put me off. I almost bought their ex-demo that is now up for sale but ended up getting mine from the London branch. When i collect my charge cable, i'll ask them about the spacers for the calipers to remove the reflectors.
Lovely bike and welcome, I hope you mange to clock up a few more miles before the winter weather sets in.
To clarify, I think @Ducbird is asking for an excellent picture of your bike with a rubbish bin also in shot. If you post a very poorly taken photo of just a bin, that will only end in disappointment all round
