Just joined the forum as I'm thinking of getting a Ducati hypermotard 821, my first duke. I had a ktm 950 supermoto for 5 years which was a great B road bike but fancied a change as wanting a bit more power. Currently ride a cbr1000r6 which has the extra power but missing the sharp handling and big torque and never thought I'd say this about a blade but it's a bit bland after the ktm. I'm unsure whether an 1100 or the new 821 is best. Hoping to test ride an 821 this week, sadly an SP is out of my budget unless I see a decent 2nd hand deal (and a lowered seat as 5' 7!). Looking at my local Ducati dealer, Riders of Bridgwater.
