Hi all, recently I made an almost impulse purchase when a good friend said that they wanted to sell their '03 Supersport1000ie. It was going to be a winter project to style into a single seat Superlight, as I prefer the looks of the older Supersports/Superlights, and I want it for Sunday's and Trackdays and have no intention of touring on it, so it can be as focused as I like. But once I got it home, and despite the tyres feeling a little wooden, it rode really well, and I found it really accommodating, and once I had properly looked it over, I felt to do anything drastic to it would be wrong. So it's basically staying the way it is. For now at least. Service, New Tyres and Pads, and book some trackdays to set it up how I like it and to have some fun on it. Then maybe next year, do something a little more radical!!
