Had my 04 900ssie for 7 yrs now and thought of swapping it for something more upright in riding position, looked around but couldnt afford alot of the bikes I liked so have decided to ditch the clip ons and the full fairing and have bought and fitted a set of upright bars and an ABM top yoke and risers. Because of the difference in height the kit recommends cutting up the fairing just below the mirror mounts, To avoid this and to save my original fairing I want to raise the headlight frame up two inches and fit a top half fairing like johnyboy has on his. My clocks will be around two inches higher so I will need a longer speedo cable. Can anyone tell me if the monster cables fit my speedo drive - my cable is 25" long so it needs to be longer than that. Last question, the mounting screws that hold the ignition barrel to the yoke are now too short so I will need some longer ones... Any ideas what size and thread they are?
