  1. Hello all, well after wanting a Monster ever since I was 15 years old (20 years ago) yesterday I went out and bought.....

    A 2010 Street Triple R :eek:

    (thats the exact bike)

    Bought it mostly to get the wife back on two wheels and for me to commute/get around town. Next job is to turn my 749 into a track bike and then start saving my pennies for a ll98

  2. They are great bikes, my wife rides one. Enjoy taking it out from time to time but being 6' 3" and 17 st I don't fit it very well:upyeah:

  3. Cracking bike, nice:upyeah:

  4. Very nice :)

  5. Triumph

    Where's the oil leak ?
    #:upyeah:

  6. Just disconnect one of the plug leads and it will feel and sound like a proper Triumph!

  7. My mate rides a Street Trip. He loves it and on the road is is fairly fast, faster than me on the real tight and twisties. On the track, I lap him. I cant let him have all the fun :biggrin::biggrin:. Really nice bikes thou :upyeah:

  8. Nice bike-wouldn't mind one myself.

  9. nice one ... congrats :)

  10. Thanks guys, looking forward to trying something a little diffrent. Still love my 749 though and can't imagine anything beating the feeling of being launched out of a corner by a L Twin Desmodromic valve actuated engine

  11. Nice bike. I used to have a Daytona 675 and rode ST few times... tons of fun :)

  12. Just saved £400 on my insurance quote, so asking the dealer to fit arrow cans :D

  13. 400 notes, how the hell did you save that?

  14. Check out this thread --> http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f16/insurance-7479/

    To say I saved £400 depends on your perspective, but I ended up paying £400 less than original quoted on-line after speaking to someone on the phone. I haven't had bike insurance for the last couple of years, but when I told them I had been insured for 5 years with no claims prior to that they gave me 1 years free no claims.
