  1. Pimped from UKGSers (who pimped it from morebikes).

Liquid cooling, euro emissions compliance, customisation options, etc:

    They look fucking cool but:

    - these will have cost fuckall to develop compared to making a worthy modern Daytona in the mould of S1000RR, 1299, R1, etc
    - I fucking hate these bearded arsewombles who appeared in London over the summer with bubble visors and ginger beards and satchels and flat whites. Satchels FFS!
    - Ducati was so, so far ahead of the curve with the Sport Classics. Even today, these Triumps and the R9T aren't better in any way aside from having ABS.

  2. Both look shit.

  3. What's selvedge?

  4. So it's new bike.....built to look old......and that makes you cool?

    Interesting

Would I have to be able to grow a beard as I do struggle with that, satchels I can buy but I'm not sure a stick on beard would work at speed

  5. No beards work at speed:

  6. The bottom cafe racer is Ok IMHO, but why any surprise?

As far as I'm aware Triumph have been doing this for years making a modern model and dressing it like one of the original Triumphs.

If it floats yet boat why not?

That fairing looks like a rip off a Magni fairing too.

I'd have the V11 with that fairing over the Triumph every time too.

I like them, they are cool , relaxed bikes for real world riding. As for the hipsters, yeah some people might find them annoying, others find power rangers on the latest gsxzxcbr fanygale 1000rrrrrr ranting the nuts off them annoying...

I'm seriously considering a Thruxton R without the bubble fairing, I will definitely be test riding one in the spring.

  9. They're a damn sight better looking than the Ducati attempt at nostalgia

  10. I love the oxymoron of the Street Twin Inspiration pack #3
