Just had a new zip put in the wife's leathers. It's a two piece and she found that it was becoming less and less easy to connect the zip that joins the jacket and the trousers. Did a bit of checking on bike web sites (could have done with the database of help on a previous web site - don't know what happened to it? ) but ended up with some guys over in Tadworth called Fadi. Not sure that their web site was too promising and the home page music is enough to drive you mental. For your amusement, check out their other web site which has a brilliant Robbie Williams track on it's home page. Their photo gallery should not be missed either. Too be honest, they are a bit chaotic and cannot remember what they quoted or when they said anything would be ready, but there is a lovely young lady called Alison who minds what must be the smallest shop in the world on top of Tadworth station. Anyway, just picked it up, gave them 60 readies and they have done an excellent job.
I needed a new zip in my jacket which is a yellow Ducati one made by Dainese. I also didnt like the collar on it anymore I took it to Unique leathers in Hull who fitted a new Manadrin style race collar and zip all for £35 and a brill job they have made of it
Dropped my jacket in to Hideout last Saturday, £65.00 for a h/duty replacement zip, used them a couple of years ago for some other zips and recommend them. Why are Dainese zips such crap quality? every single one on my 2 piece has now had to be replaced due to the puller tags breaking off or the actual zips just pulling apart as soon as you do them up, I'll not be spending my hard earned with them next time.
