My wife could be persuaded to sell her 696, had it about 3 years and hardly ridden it., I like riding it but now have a multistrada that scratches that itch. We're in West Wales though

Welcome and good luck with finding your x96 Monster. I owned a 696+. Lovely bike, completely non-intimidating. The clutch took a bit of getting used to and the suspension is a little harsh but great fun to ride.

But Marion is looking to sell her 696, I'll try and get some more info up today/tomorrow, has after market exhaust ( OEM included) 2013 plate, I'll do a belt change, virtually no miles since she bought it about 4 years ago from riders Cardiff ( as was)
