  5. Thanks Wroughtironman, I've wanted one since I was a spotty teenager and finally got around to getting one at the age of 54, I'm looking forward to having the belts done so that I can actually get out on it!

  9. Hi and welcome. Great bikes, Ive got the same model. I think you may have a 750 can on there. The rhs footrest hanger has been changed too. Looks like a nice bike.

  10. It's probably a bit of a bitsa Gilps, but it looks nice and was ridiculously cheap so I had to have it, the silencer have "laser" stamped on them so I assume they are aftermarket?.

  11. Hiya Mark.

  12. Hey there neighbour :)

  13. Welcome Dave :)

  14. Thanks for the replies chaps, I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions going forward, in fact here's one, please could anyone recommend an independent ducati mechanic?, I want to get the belts done as soon as possible.

  15. Nelly at Cornerspeed is your man. Highly recommended, and he's not far away from you:

  18. Took my bike to Nelly and had the 12k service, needed shims, belts, fuel filter etc , was running weak , runs spot on now and after a 50 mile ride I'm beginning to get the hang of it!, very different to the jap 4's I'm used to, very precise handling , huge engine braking etc, give me another 100 miles and I'll be getting in the swing of things, loving the bike now, also Nelly is a top bloke, thoroughly recommend taking your bike there.
