Hi just recently bought a 916 which is the first bike I've had over 250cc so a bit of a shock to the system. Finding the riding experience amazing other than terrible wrist ache! Also, much as I'm sure I'll get told not to, I'd really like to change it from yellow to red.
Welcome in, also from Berkshire! You could look at getting helibars which will lift the effective bar position a touch and bring it back slightly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hiya,if you are going to go from yellow to red, which is totally understandable,it may be worth picking up odd bits of fairing as and when ,then having them sprayed up.
Welcome! I think that yellow is good, although my Duc is red - you might want to remove those pre-load adjusters though as the colour clashes. That looks like an excellent example of a 40-year old Kawasaki triple. The contrast between the two bike's handlebars in your photo is stark, and it has only added encouragement to my thoughts of putting a "Superbike bar conversion" onto my 900SS; not something you should consider lightly, but for those with neck/shoulder problems perhaps the only real solution - Helibars and adjustable clip-ons are also worth considering, but not cheap and they only "tweak" the riding position.
thanks for the welcomes and the advice about bars. I assumed it was just me not sitting right but maybe these will help I'm contemplating getting a set of panels from Superbike Bodywork pre coloured. Don't suppose anyone has tried them?
Also from Berkshire, welcome, wow a KH250, ring, ding ding my cousin had one and took me on the back, made my AP50 feel slow
