Hi everyone, My name is Rich, I'm from Bristol and I don't own a Ducati, yet... I have been looking for a decent project for a while now and after doing a lot of research I have decided that a Ducati is the way forward! I am in the process of finishing tarting up my K2 GSXR600 trackbike to sell to part fund the project, I have had a riot on her but it is time to move on. The project I am looking at is based on the Radical Ducati 9 1/2, however I will probably be using a ST4 as the donor vehicle as it seems to be an easier starting point. I will also be making it road legal as it seems criminal to build something so beautiful and not share it with the world This will be my first proper bike project so I thought it would be best to join a forum full of people who know what they are talking about! I have built a few cars in the past, a couple of Aircooled VWs, rebuilt a Tiger kit car and turboed an MX5 but never a bike, I'm looking forward to the challenge! Cheers Rich
Hi Rich and welcome to the forum Look forward to reading about your build Plenty of knowledge here just dont ask where the tax disc goes /-)
Welcome Rich I too live in Brizzle (Hanham) and ride a 999. If you dont already know him, Rich at louigi Moto will be invaluable if you are doing a project. Rich turns out some cracking specials and is a wizard with all things ducati. He transformed my 999 in prep for the TT. Welcome aboard
Yep, get to know Rich and you'll have one of the best in the business there to help out if you need him. Louigi Moto // Ducati Specialists
Wow, thanks for all the welcomes! And its good to see a few local members too. I have heard good things about luigi moto in the past, its nice to get some personal recommendations though. Im sure I will be popping the project down to them when I run into the inevitable complications! Cheers everyone
