Hi all Pmitch here from Birmingham in the UK, dont currently have a duke but hope to sort one out in the next 2 weeks got my eye ona 2015 multitrader 1200 S. Currently have a Honda Blackbird going through an insurance claim and expect it to be written off. Pretty cheesed of I had her from new in 2006 and she was a brilliant bike. This will be my second Duke, I had a 900SSD from new (V Reg) and sold it in 2005. she was pretty rare I only ever saw one other all the time I had her. I should have kept her she would have been worth way more than I sold it for, wife wasnt standing for me have 2 bikes and the SSD900 needed constant attentiob wheras the BB was able to turn on and go, everytime. No doubt I will be posting some questions that have been asked 1000 times before so sorry about that Cheers pmitch
Welcome to the forum Pmitch. Things have moved on a bit since the late 70s. The Multistrada will be Worlds away from from the 900SS, should have some recognisable Ducati DNA though.
Hi All Thanks for welcome. I did love the old 900ssd it was great that it was so rare too. My life at the time was hectic and i couldnt spare the time to nurture it like it needed. Hence the move to honda. I hope the MS will suit my past middle age (by some margin)body which has the additional complication of a weeble shaped torso and legs like ET. Fingers crossed
