Newbie From Chichester

  1. Hi

    Newbie from chichester, Currently finishing off a long term RD350lc hybrid project and also in the process of just starting to rebuilding of a ZXR400 J2 or SP model after the strip down, frame Paint etc..

    Looking for my poster bike of my younger days either a 916 SPS or 748R once these bike are finished or the right bike turns up...

    yes the LC has good memories for me as well, The ZXR400 model I first saw when i bought my first lid and was amazed by it but at 16 couldn't ride one or afford one..

  7. Whatever Ducati you acquire, it looks like it is going to a very good home.
    Can I drop my 996 SPS engine off, it needs a damn good service, external clean and probably a repaint?
    If you find yourself in Northchapel I have toys to play with…..:D

    Northchapel isn't that far

    I'm not that much of an engine guy to be honest! The RD350lc has had to serious work done to the motor way outside my capabilities!! Most other things i've done myself inc all the Frame strengthening Fabrication, Polishing etc..

    I'm in two minds or even three at the moment on either 916SPS or 748SPS/R I do like my bikes to be the limited Versions if at all possible i may look out for an 'unloved' bike but they always cost way more to 'restore' than a nice example ready to go but i do like the challenge and finished product and it keeps another classic on the road..
