Hello everyone, collected my Scrambler Urban Enduro 10 days ago from Metropolis Vauxhall. I have not ridden a bike for 9 years, and last one was a 250 cc scooter, so still very rusty. In fact, yesterday I fell like an idiot at 6 mph thanks to a combination of dark street, speed bump and pile of wet leaves (OK, probably the hand slpped on the throttle on the speed bump, not sure). Result, the small peg of the stop light switch which also acts as a brake pedal stopper snapped, and I now need to replace the whole footpeg plate. This is £130 plus labour, and worse of all dealers don't stock it so it is a special order from Italy and my bike will be useless for 7-10 days minimum. Just now that I needed the practice....:rage::rage:
Sorry to hear of your little off, winter is approaching, play time is spring drink time now :Finger: Welcome to the forum!
Unlucky mate. Welcome. Front or rear brake. A lot of parts are generic, you might find the bit needed on ebay listed for a different model like monster.
Welcome - not the weather for biking although you'd expect a scrambler to keep a fair bit of traction. Not the best start, but it's good to get your leg over after such a long sabbatical
thanks to all. I also sprained my shoulder when pulling up the bike, so some R'n'R is in order. I was also quite surprised when the engine kept running after the fall, that shows how old I am I guess: my last enduro bike had a carburettor...
