Newbie From Surrey

  1. Hi,

    Just checking in to say hello,

    Have had Ducatis for a few years now, just never got around to joining the forum, saw a couple of 996's on my ride earlier tonight.

    I do pop into Rykas sometimes but as you can understand it's embarrassing when you've got your mate with you on his R1, lol

    No class some people ;-))

    Riding a 999 at the mo but also have a few other bikes to the wife's delight

    I recently joined the forum too. Met up with a few people the other week for a blast to the Goodwood Breakfast club. Great bunch of guys :)

    I usually pop along to Boxhill quite often. May see you there sometime :)

  13. Like the sound of that Russell, been a longtime since I've been to Goodwood, fond memories of corporate car track days and driving a F3 car round there.

  14. We have a decent social crowd at Box almost any time it seems. We do welcome alternative marques, there is a notable Honda owner who is allowed, a Cagiva owner who is soon to sell the bike to me and an uncouth KTM some idiot traded his Streetfighter for so plenty of different folk about.

    If I can stop my addiction to going round "tibbets corner" and find the exit, I will head over as the weather is looking good all week, yes you guested it fair weather rider lol

  16. As Rob stated, we are a tolerant bunch of farts who gas about anything, we have extensive knowledge of most marques and have a particular qualified 1st degree honorary professor of Italian sports cars Lancia being his favourite .
    The rest of us are almost qualified in matters including women, bikes and Lawnmowers ( Harley Davidsons excluded)
    Oh and a coffee expert too that rides some old Diesel duffer!!

  17. Last time I was up Boxhill was a couple of years ago, remember they use to do a good cheeseburger and that's why I struggle to get in my leathers now!
