Newbie From The North

Just wanted to post an introduction as ive recently joined up, been a long time ducati admirer but have never owned one until now!

Ive just acquired a 2000 748 which has been my dream road bike for some time, would have loved a 916/996/998 but they hold a much higher premium so the 748 suits me fine!

will post a build post soon, bike has already been stripped so be ready for many questions and build photos

cheers mate, wanted this style ducati since i was a nipper! its currently in 100 pieces ready to rebuild

does anyone know what this style bike was called generation wise? purely out of interest.. is there a model code rather than referring to it as a 748/916?

yeh I dont think theres a model code as such either was just curious as im constantly searching for parts

thought it maybe similar to other brands like suzuki gsxr have k2/k3 generation codes etc etc
