Hi everyone, I used to be a member of the old Ducatista forum, but since that closed I have not been on any other Ducati forums until now! Im 29, originally from Yate, nr Bristol, but now live in Chippenham. I bought my 916 back on the 8th December 2008. Bought it from Acrington Stanley, on the ride home I encountered every type of element possible apart from warm sun. I didn't realise till we got close that ''up north'' were having a substantial snow storm. Snow drifts on the side of the road of 2ft is not an exaggeration, thick snow on the visor ment riding speeds of 15 MPH till the storm had passed. Torrential rain,freezing temperatures on the evening with some hail stones (for good measure) all contributed to a most memorable first ride of my 916. To me this was just the start of the adventure! I service and repair all my own vehicles, and can often be found ''playing'' in my garage on my latest project I have on the go. I look forward to interacting with you all, regards James
