Hi guys, just introducing myself to the rabble. Always been a Suzuki guy, had an SV650s, then GSXR600 k5, GSXR1000 K5, now switched the the Ducati 1098, hoping to love it just as much to ride as I do to look at it
Welcome! I also had a K6 Thou before coming over. You will miss the K5! One of the greatest Superbikes ever made. Sold mine to a mate, and we ended up touring the Pyrenees together last year.
K5 would be nice to own if I was after another superbike. Saw your other thread about stickers ! , if it was me I'd get rid of the Marelli one for sure . the D Performance doesn't look to bad where it is but the Marelli would be in the wrong place for me.
Removing that one tonight hopefully, then going to see what it looks like haha. K5 was unbelievably comfortable and such a great bike overall
K5 Gixxer is a classic. Nuts to anyone who thinks Japanese bikes are soulless. Theyre not. Always loved big Gixxers. I'd be happy to own a GSXR.
