Hi guys, just joined after buying a 2008 1098, previously a Suzuki man but couldn't resist when I saw it. Heavy rains and winds in the UK stopping me from getting out on it at the minute but while I'm sitting I'm contemplating a few things. First off, it seems the dealer added a few stickers to the side fairings and I can't make my mind up if I like them or not. Guess I'm just looking for a few other peoples opinions on them really, see what you think:
number board is ok but the rest is marmite be aware they they could be hiding some marks to the bodywork so dont be suprised if you remove them that you will want to put them back again
Keeping the numberboards, its just the decals at the side. Bike is otherwise totally immaculate, had seen it a few months previous and it didn't have the stickers, think they'd done it to attract more attention
Personally I'd keep them as one of them might be hiding something, once your riding you won't be able to see them. enjoy
Optionally keep numberboard, lose rest. I'm picking up a 1098 in March too (no stickers) Enjoy the bike!
IDE have to take the number boards and the decals off as it looks tacky TBH.the bikes natural beauty is underneath.
I was all for taking the side fairing stickers off earlier, then I caught a glimpse of a reflection with me on it in the bike gear. They're still on for the meantime
haha quite, it just somehow worked. Will leave them on for the meantime until I can get the hairdryer out
