Cheers all! Very excited. Should be picking it up on Sunday now all being well. Was going to ride it the 80ish miles home but issues getting there/picking up the car again etc so will just put it in the van and have a proper ride when I'm back. Already spoken to my local specialist North Motorcycle about a new fuel sender and a once over. Hopefully nothing major flags up! Thanks Michael
So, picked up the bike on the Sunday as planned. Couldn't get it insured until Monday, so went for a 50 mile run on Monday evening to get a feel for it. Felt great, so much power, slightly twitchy steering, and unfortunately it was showing a map sensor error from the get-go which then disappeared half way through the ride. Went out again on Wednesday evening and same issue, but unfortunately it stayed on permanently from then onwards. Tyler at North Motorcycle diagnosed it as a faulty horizontal map sensor, and it's running slightly better now it's been replaced. Waiting for the fuel sender and a front tyre to come into stock, then I'll be back down for those. Haven't been out much this week due to work and weather, but hopefully soon!
