How do Folks, Recently got myself another Ducati, Used to have a 749s,but sold it about 3 years ago!! Not ridden a bike since,so looking forward to better weather, Hopefully get out and about,and maybe a few track days as well! Anyways,hope you're all doing well!! Cheers. J
Hi Im new to the forum and sorry if i am asking a question thats been asked to death. Im 32 and passed my DAS last year first time no minors. I rode from 10 -15yr on a small dirt bike. 16-17 on a 50cc 17-18 on a 125cc 19-20ish on a RVF 400cc (no licence for it) not prouf of that part. Anyway im looking at the 696 and 796. I can ride but a little rusty. Rode a er6n for my lessons and was bored of it by the end. (instructor was great in letting me open it up) he also said i had very good brake control in emergency stops. Long and short of it. Do you think the 696 or 796 monster will be a bit too much as a first larger legal street bike? im looking at an 08/09 used then maybe a new one in a couple of years. Your thoughts please.
Sounds like a fine choice to me and no, not too much. I have a mate with a 796 and he rides it like a complete loon, so they will go fast if given the cane. But in other circs, they should be completely manageable - in as much as a Ducati ever is, at low speeds.
Hey folks! finding it a bit difficult to post a few pics of bike,using a iPad,get so far then all goes wrong!!! few questions to throw out their! would like to get a set of track fairings,along the same style as my bike,i.e checa Althea 2011! have had a few quotes from the well known far eastern manufacturers!not to bad! what do you's all think of these fairings bearing in mind they are only track fairings! the other question is?due to the fact I'm a bit of a checa fan!bought my replica the day he retired!! i would like a bit of artwork of the bike with carlos winning or taking part in the 2011 season! anyone got an idea where I would get something along these lines?? Or am I being a bit sad!! Follow this??? Not sure if this is still my original post!as there has been a bit off side tracking going on!! but hope for a bit of feed back!!!
