Hey from Italia, I have been a visitor to this forum for a while now and thought it was about time i said Hello. I have been riding for about 10 years, and in that time ridden and crashed all sorts... except for my dream bike, an Italian twin But that all changed last year when i got myself a lovely little 899. It has been used both as my road bike, and a few times at the tracks we have around here. However having a bike set up for track is no good on road, and a road bike is not real good on the track.(This is my reasoning why I need another bike, I'm also trying to convince the mrs too). Any way I have been ordering plenty of goodies to keep me busy this winter. Next year i will be out on track a lot more. Goodies to fit so far. Usual crash protection, engine casings, axles and brake lever. Lighttech rearsets, Track Fairings, MWR race filter, MWR XXL intake, Brembo Supersport Discs and uprated pads, now fitted, however need to be bedded in. Still to come.. Slipper Auto blipper Rcs 19 Corsa corta Centralina, something like RapidBike race, Woolrich or Rexxer. We have a few tuners around here so i'll be speaking with some of them to figure out how best to get her set up. Pics to follow,
V nice. Ps, I'm pretty sure your suspension is worthy of being included in your 'already fitted goodies' list . Lavley
Thank you for the warm welcome Woops, nearly forgot The bike has Mupo suspension, actually I bought the bike and it had the kit fitted, but after pushing a little on track something obviously wasn’t right at the front end, the rebound was almost zero, even with my attempts to adjust at the track. The mechanic had to strip apart and rebuild them. He actually took them back to Mupo not sure what exactly the issue was, but it is now perfect.
