I bought a set of these to renew my clutch. However, even with the new friction plates I'm still running at 37.5mm stack height, so I suppose I actually need a new kit with spacers as well. If anyone would like these friction plates I'm selling for what I paid for them - 60. ta.
They are alloy plates you've put the link up for, best not to run those in steel basket. If its on a SS it probably is steel. Swap your 1.5 plain for 2mm plain to get stack height or put in extra 1.5
indeed - I have an alloy basket and hub- Vee two. ideally if I can get hold of a 1.5 I'd be a happy man.
Don't suppose you've got any of your used Friction Plates up for grabs have you? Wanting to do the "quiet clutch" mod on my ST4S. Will gladly exchange for beer tokens.
Don't think the wear matters. They are only used as shims effectively, to remove the excess rattle when the clutch is engaged.
