Hi, Wasn't sure where to post, but had my own little impromptu ride out today... I took the Black B*tch into Blades Reading for a new side stand (it was leaning more drunkenly than yours truly after a 4 pack of Stella) and they offered me a test ride on one of their 959 demonstrators. As it was a nice day... why not? Pretty similar to my 999, little bit more power, but I kept it in sport rather than race. Clutch is far nicer but still agony in town on the wrists. I only stalled it once. Handling seemed good although cannot compare to mine yet as I'm still tentative on a new front tyre. Quickshifter (up only) took a little getting used to but then I usually clutchless upshift 2nd to 3rd and upwards, but it was second nature by the end of the ride to keep the throttle open (I don't think 'pinned'' is the right word on the A33). Front wheel was coming up way too easily Overall I was pretty impressed but feel I have just as much chance losing my license or killing myself as on my current steed. And then I said I had only had my 999 for 3 weeks and wasn't interested in upgrading any time soon... the salesperson disappeared quicker than a 4 pack of Stella. Flea
