Hi All Went to my bike yesterday morning after a 100 mile ride. Key in the ignition, turned the key and no power to the dashboard, no noises from the fuel pump no anything. RAC came out and checked all fuses and battery and all are fine but bike will still not start. Any ideas? Ps, 14 hours in that heat at the roadside waiting for the RAC to collect the bike in leathers was not a fun day. One thing I've learnt is I wont be renewing with the RAC
No typo. 4 Hours for the breakdown truck then when he couldn't fix it after testing just some of the fuses and battery I had to wait the rest of time for a recovery truck who was a 3rd party. I've lost about 5 stone in sweat lol
Possibly due to the "wrong sort of hot weather". Noticed a lot of broken down vehicles during my travels over the weekend.
Sorry you had to wait that long. That's ridiculous. I know vechicles breakdown but to have to wait that long is surely not acceptable.
Bikes just been fixed and am picking back up tomorrow. Turns out it was a failed starter solenoid just hope it doesn’t go again
Just been out for a ride. 40 lies in DTC failure came upon the dash and then DES error. I reset the dash and they went out for a short time but came back on after 5 or so miles got the bike home and turned the bike off and then ignition back on and now no power as the same as before. thankfully this time there’s no breakdown truck wait to contend with as well this bike of mine Is really beginning to be problematic
