Just replacing rear subframe for a light one. Not sure whether to put the exhaust heat shield back on. Only ever ride the bike on the track with full leathers. Will my legs get too hot? Anyone run a baby pani' with no heat shield or exhaust wrap? Cheers, Bob
Some say it's also to heat shield your fuel. Warm fuel may sap your power by a billionth of a horsepower or something.... There is an element of truth to it but we're getting to the nitty gritty I'd say.
Subframe I fitted didn't have the locating holes to fir it properly; so I left it off... Will see hot hot it gets on next trackday
