I'm looking at fitting some heated grips to my Multi but based on previous feedback & their £200 + price tag don't want to fit the genuine Ducati one's. Has anyone fitted non Ducati one's, if so which make & how did you wire them in? The one's I've been looking at are Daytona from Motohaus, does anyone have any experience of these? Many thanks
No experience of Daytona heated grips but Motohaus are good people to deal with....had bits off them when I had my GS, good service and backup. I can understand why you're not considering the Ducati grips......silly money....but the ability to operate them from the OE handlebar switch (the start button!), 3 heat settings and a display on the digital dash does compensate a little. As far as I know the only issue with them is the unusually fast wear of the grips themselves? Took some doing but got mine replaced under Warranty
