Need to know... Will original nongango top box be big enough for a helmet.. The panniers are too small - real irritation! db

There is one available now - but it seems to be MUCH smaller than I had hoped or you suggest - to quote the vendor: " the top box will not take a full face helmet as the dimensions are as follows 520mm wide x 250mm deep x 330 front to back". So it looks like I have to go back to the drawing board - I already have nonfango panniers - so it seems I have a few options: Buy the 'too small' nonfango top box and fittings - and hope I can pick up a bigger box later. Buy a Givi fitting kit 675F, plate and top box - eek expensive - and hope that I can fit this with the existing nonfango panniers (givi say the 675F is not compatible). Buy a Give universal fitting kit - eek also expensive - and hope that I can fit this with the existing nonfango panniers/ Trade in my current ST4S for another one - with luggage!! Any advice? I want a top box that will work with existing panniers and take at least one helmet!
