Noobie Near York

  1. Hello all,
    I'm near York and have just bought myself a 53 plate Multistrada 1000.
    It's my early Birthday and Christmas present to myself - at least that's what I told Mrs.Milko. This is my first Ducati after owning other Italian Bikes many years ago.
    I am now of an age where I ride just for fun. Stand by for a few dumb questions as I learn my way around the Ducati. And maybe the story of why a Multistrada.

  13. It's not red but sliver & grey. I've been out a couple of times on it and I'm liking it. It rolls nicely through the bends.
    What oil for the engine - current stuff looks black in the window?
    Is it me or is the gearing quite tall? 1st gear seems highish for pulling away.
