Before I go chasing a problem I haven't got ... what is the normal operating temperature of you 1200 DVT, please? Mine warms up to an indicated 55C quickly and as long as I'm moving it stays about that temperature. Slow moving in traffic will see the temperature climb to 75C but it soon drops back once I get rolling. The reason for the question is that on a long run - at least an hour, more like two - the MS smooths out and changes character. All the lumps and vibrations disappear. Interested to understand what temperatures other people are seeing. Thanks.
61degrees normal & anything upto & over 100 in traffic. One of my fans has broke actually which is a quick reminder to my internal monologue for next service.
Like Gunz says big temp swings are the norm it seems. From 140ish F to fans on plus in traffic (217 I think is the fans on temp). Even in hotter weather here (90 plus), mine stays below 160 170 when moving.
