North Yorkshire best roads?

  1. I'm going out for a days riding on the 999 tommorrow and was getting a little bored of the usual dales routes I take, can anyone suggest some nice roads from Hawes up north. I normally go to Hawes, then Leyburn, then Grassington & home, looking to go Settle, Hawes and then ?????

  2. Head over to Stokesley and Helmsley too. Some nice roads there too.

  3. From helmsley you can go across to pickering, not a brill road as there are lots of speed limits. From Pickering you can turn left at roundabout to Whitby via Goathland or straight on to Scarborough.

  4. Malton to Buttercrambe near Stamford Bridge, ace road, never seen police on it.

    OGR

  5. go further north upto Northumberland. rothbury keilder newcastleton hexham etc.
    well worth it

  6. Anywhere you like, there's not much that is poor and most of it is excellent. Except the East Coast, that's shit.
