I have wanted to attend the gathering befire but its just so far away from Edinburgh. Is there a more Northern option?
if your not on ducati up north, give them a go. they do several runs a year and monthly socials. quiet wee forum but good tech section
It's a long way for Finm to get from where he is to a ' Northern Meet' unless it's on the Mull of Kintyre...........otherwise it would mean riding for four hours to Glasgow and turning right for another few hours.......... .............besides, he han't had his operation yet........... ........they say it will be majorly difficult to remove his fingers from the keyboard.......:wink:

We're looking dangerously like volunteers here, Desmo.... How about around early spring we agree* a date/time/place for a meet in the Summer and then folk can identify their own meet up points to ride in. That's assuming it's not just you and me obviously, in which case a ride out from Edinburgh to wherever we fancy will do the job... *= decide in non-diplomatic fashion... Mick..

Ok, I am easy. Some weekends are out for me. So if we can get some dates after the bike show 12-13 March as thats my target for getting the SS on the road?
To be fair I would rather go to Scotland from Hull than down South. Still quite a way for me and at least up where you are there is less traffic, less bacon and less speed cameras around. Oh, and better roads.
Yep, sounds good to me, St Marys loch a possible meet too. I will look at some roads. As regards dates Im gonna throw some out there... 23/24/30 April 1/28/29 May These are the weekends I am off. I may be able to do the 14th May. For me the weekend of the 29th / 30th April suits great (as long as SS built!). Thoughts?
