749 Number Plate Hangar

  1. hi all i have a 749s , just bought ,absolutely beautiful , so pleased ,BUT, i need a numberplate hangar , cant seem to find one less than £100 , anyone on here got one at a sensible price ? also subframe broke where silencer mounts ! is this normal ?

  2. Can't help with a hanger but my 999 has suffered the mounting point welds breaking despite being repaired twice. I have now fixed it in place using two stainless steel ties (work like cable ties). This now allows the mounting point to move slightly with the exhaust. Has not let me down in the 12 months since I did it.

  5. You can get aftermarket hangers that mount on the light assembly. Much neater imho.

  9. I have found the main bracket / hanger in my garage but not sure if I have the little brackets that connect it to the silencer...

  10. When you get one, use some threadlock. When I put my Termi on the 749 last month my bracket fell off within 50 miles... I had a touch and got a new one from eBay for under 20 quid but was almost stumping up for something aftermarket.

    Still get kind of excited by the LED jobbie that looks "Fleda-like" Ducati 749/999 Fender Eliminator Kit LED Turn Signal Brake Bar | eBay
