Hi guys hate the big fat number plate on my 848 saw a pic of someone's with a nice tidy slim one, does anyone know if I need to get a diff holder or something?
Depends on what you want to do really. Do you want to keep the original indicators? Check out Evotech they do a nice one, which comes with indicator mounts and everything. Steve at Conquest can get you one. This will also allow you mount a 'smaller' plate. Avoid the rectangle 'car' ones, the Police really don't like those on bikes. I tidied the rear of mine up my fitting an integrated rear light and slightly smaller plate. I even managed to get it through the MOT and everything
You can 'near as damn it' get the correct sized font on a plate 7.5" x 6". It's not absolutely bang on but better than a small plate and a small font When you use a plate building bit of software you have to increase the Font size so that it nearly touches the edges, remember these bits of software submit the artwork to the printer so make sure it's ok or at least email the printer/supplier beforehand to check if they think it looks right and tell them what you're trying to achieve.
