Watching now on iplayer. Interesting comment from McGuinness about the prize money anyone know how much they get. I remember years ago they used to publish the prize money in the programme.

Apparently Guy Martin was the first to visit him in Hosp after his NW crash he brought him a 10mm spanner to adjust the cage on his leg !

Commentary was a bit hit and miss but the racing was great.

 

Yes, and it could of done with more land based cameras but it were a good show that lasted the full meeting. I'm not complaining.

 

Me neither really, but with a bit more direction and editing the producers could get more out of the presenters. Nice to see McPint getting out and chatting on the grid, the other riders are clearly very warm towards him and I thought Dan Kneen was great in the commentary box. McCallen is a legend but needs direction and editing and Stavros seems increasingly acerbic and self-involved.

We were chatting tonight about the TT coverage upcoming, Jodie Kidd to bring in the non-TT non-anorak audience and further broaden the appeal or to alienate the core audience? Cam' Donald is a great rider but not great as a presenter. It remains to be seen how that goes.

Cannot disagree though, I love the BBC NW200 coverage. Buggers up getting work done though.
