Oberon cluthc slave cylinder

  1. Has anyone fitted one to a 1200 multi and was it worth it? Fitted one on my 999 and found the clutch so much lighter and easier in traffic

  2. Not needed. The Multi clutch is a lot less of challenge than on the older sports bikes. 888, 916/996/998, 999

  3. I have fitted one, much lighter and positive gear changes but lever travel will be a little longer.

  4. It's not that heavy but I've got a bit of arthritis in my hands and during town riding i can feel pain in my hands so was wondering if Oberon would just make it a little bit lighter

  5. I bought a "Factory Racing" one from E Bay for £50. It's bloody great. Clutch is lighter and less grabby when cold. Highly recommended for the money and the quality is excellent.

  6. Thanks I will have a look at them both

  7. I had an MPL unit on my old bike. Great quality and no issues in the 7 years it was fitted. The MTS clutch is a breeze by comparison to my old Tuono. I could crack walnuts in my left hand after 8 years of riding that.

  8. Hi, is your new slave cylinder still OK?
I need a replacement and the Factory Racing one is prob. for me.

  9. Absolutely fine.

  10. Beware - Ducati have changed the design of the slave cylinder on the 2013 model.
Got a Factory Racing unit to replace the OEM unit and will have to return it as there is no way of making it fit - shame as it looks a class piece of kit.
I had an Oberon unit on my last Multistrada and it made a huge difference to the clutch operation.

  11. Hmm. I see it has aquired an "anti-rotation insert" and a pin through the end of the pushrod.

  12. Whose frame plugs are those?

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  13. Fcuk me, €288 plus VAT? I'll pass but thanks anyway.

  14. Just ordered an Oberon slave cylinder which will fit the 2013 bike - £ 97.00.
