Last year when i toured a bit on my Monster, i wanted to set a trip on teh dash for the whole journey. Easy enough youd think but at the ferry i duly changed to KPH for Spain, and the trips reset to 0 which i didnt notice at the time. And again when i came home and changed back to MPH they again went to 0 losing the full trips miles. I was annoyed. Does the Multi do the same does anyone know? Many thanks.
My MV did this which was annoying, Having zeroed the trips before leaving on a continental trip, switched units to Km whilst lining up for the chunnel for everything to zero. The 1260 Mutley does exactly the same. Surely just having a conversion carried out for these, either way, when you switch isn't beyond the capabilities of the programers... Just a simple multiplication or division with a specific set figure...?
