Odometer reset

  1. So, I had been checking my mpg etc and tried to return to the main screen but couldn't, I thought I'd done something wrong. It turns out my ST3 has reset it's odometer, so instead of reading about 21k it's now showing 600 miles. Has anyone had this and is there anyway of getting the true mileage back? Chris.

  2. Result..........sell it now

  3. No chance, it took me ages to find it and I have no intention of getting shot now! Anyway what would I replace it with? The only bike I'd like is a Multi and I can't afford one of them!

  4. But you'll get top dollar with a low mileage bike

  5. But it still wouldn't be enough for a Multi and I really like this one, its comfy, fast, handles brilliantly and has room for Nicky on the back!

  6. Howdo, this geezer knows his way around stuff and I'm happy to wholeheartedly recommend. The only thing is of course you'll have to remove the clocks yourself and send them to him, but turnaround is generally within seven days. Top service and worth a call.

  7. Are you sure you have reset the oddometer? Do you have 2 trip meters on your bike and you are displaying the mileage of one of the trips?
I'm not familiar with your bike, just an idea!

Sounds highly unlikely, that by some weird combination of presses on the buttons that you have managed to drop the actual mileage from 21k to 600. there's always a first time for everything though!

  8. Hi, I wondered if I had done anything by pressing buttons in the wrong order or something but my local dealers took it into their workshop and reckon its just done it all by itself and its not unheard of apparently! As I don't know just what mileage was on the clock when it played up I might just have to treat it like a new set of clocks, but I will contact your recommended company and see what they say, cheers, Chris
